How Is the SKINVIVE^™ Treatment Performed?

The SKINVIVE^™ process is often quick, with a small amount of SKINVIVE^™ gel injected into the designated treatment area just below the skin. The solution contains lidocaine, a pain reliever, that can help minimize potential discomfort. A topical anesthetic can also be applied.

Patients typically experience mild bruising and swelling following SKINVIVE^™ treatment. Those side effects are often temporary. With relatively little to no downtime required, many patients immediately return to their normal daily routines.

How Long Do SKINVIVE^™ Results Last?

SKINVIVE^™ results often last up to six months. Once effects begin to wear off, patients can schedule additional treatment to maintain the desired appearance. To help promote satisfactory results, patients are advised to minimize physical activity, limit sun exposure, and avoid alcoholic beverages for at least 24 hours after injection.
