Vectra 3D Imaging

At his Beverly Hills plastic surgery practice, Dr. Andrew T. Cohen focuses on patient education and preparation, which is why he emphasizes the use of the most technologically advanced plastic surgery techniques available. During the consultation process, Dr. Cohen uses the state-of-the-art VECTRA® 3D imaging system to provide his patients with a three-dimensional surgical simulation to give them an idea of the cosmetic surgery results before making the final decision to proceed. By providing a glimpse into the future with VECTRA® 3D imaging, Dr. Cohen’s patients are able to see a computer-generated image of the potential cosmetic enhancement results, which allows both the doctor and the patient to make adjustments depending on the goals and expectations discussed.

For more information on VECTRA® 3D imaging, please contact Dr. Cohen at his Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, and Santa Monica, California-area cosmetic plastic surgery practice.

The VECTRA® 3D Imaging system captures an ultra-high resolution image of each patient, which is then uploaded into a computer to be altered digitally. With the simulation technology, Dr. Cohen is able to provide his patients with a visual image of the likely outcome of a number of cosmetic surgery procedures, including breast augmentation or face lift, before the surgery is performed. With the VECTRA® 3D imaging system, the image can be viewed from all angles. This can be very useful for patients interested in breast augmentation - specific implant size can be altered throughout the imaging process so that patients can see a variety of sizes for a better idea of how they may look after the procedure.

The Vectra 3D imaging system also offers precise details regarding the surface anatomy of any cosmetic procedure by displaying linear and volumetric measurements on “before-and-after” images, allowing patients to make side-by-side comparisons. Coupled with Dr. Cohen’s professional expertise, the simulation technology can help develop realistic expectations by allowing patients to better communicate their specific aesthetic enhancement goals.

By incorporating the Vectra 3D imaging system in the initial consultation process, Dr. Cohen’s patients are provided realistic answers from the very beginning, which are further supported by a 3D representation of their cosmetic surgery goals through the eyes of a board-certified plastic surgeon.
